SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed with regards to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The assistance level established for intervention encounters a significant influx of likely read more beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
